Rubric Protocol provides cryptographic attestation infrastructure: post-quantum (ML-DSA-65, FIPS 204) signed records of AI agent decisions and related artifacts, aggregated into Merkle structures and anchored to public distributed ledgers including the Hedera Consensus Service and Base. Services are offered via API (subscription tiers) and per-call x402 micropayment endpoints ("Paid Endpoints"). Verification of existing attestations is free and available to anyone.
Subscription tiers are billed as published at rubric-protocol.com/pricing. Paid Endpoint purchases settle on-chain in USDC via the x402 protocol; on-chain settlements are final and non-refundable once confirmed. If a Paid Endpoint settles payment but fails to deliver the purchased artifact, contact us and we will remediate by re-delivery or credit at our discretion.
By design, attestation commitments (cryptographic hashes and Merkle roots) anchored to public ledgers are permanent and cannot be altered or deleted by us or anyone else. We anchor commitments, not your underlying content. You are responsible for ensuring that material you submit for attestation does not include data you may later be required to erase, and that you have the rights necessary to submit it.
You may not use the services to attest, store, or launder unlawful content; to misrepresent the provenance, authorship, or compliance status of any system; to interfere with or probe the federation infrastructure beyond documented endpoints; or to resell attestations in a manner that misattributes their issuer. Rate limits and tier quotas are part of the service contract.
Attestations are cryptographic evidence, not legal conclusions. Nothing in the services constitutes legal, compliance, audit, or financial advice, and an attestation does not by itself establish conformity with any law or framework (including the EU AI Act, SR 11-7, HIPAA, or NIST AI RMF).
The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation of third-party networks (Hedera, Base, USDC, payment facilitators) on which the services depend.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echelon Intelligence Group LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) US $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you submit for attestation or your use of the services in violation of these terms or applicable law.
We retain all rights in the services, software, specifications, and documentation. RUBRIC PROTOCOL is a trademark of Echelon Intelligence Group LLC. Attestation records you purchase are yours to use and redistribute with issuer attribution intact.
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. Sections 3, 5-9, and 11 survive termination. Previously anchored commitments remain publicly verifiable regardless of account status.
